   Texas is the second most populous and the second most extensive state in the United States of America, having a population of 25.7 million residents and a surface of 260,820 square miles. If you’re planning a visit there, find out what the best places to visit in Texas are.

When going on vacation, you should always start with the museums, and Texas is filled with them. Make a list with all the museums you can find and choose those that seem more interesting for you. For example, some of the most visited museums in Texas are the Museum of the Southwest, the American Airpower Heritage Museum, the Nimitz Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the Kimbell Art Museum, the Amon Carter Museum, and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. The Museum of the Southwest is an interactive museum featuring an art museum, children’s museum and planetarium, whereas the Modern Art Museum if Texas’ oldest art museum.

Texas is full of history, and the place you should not miss while there is the Alamo, which preserves the ruins from the Battle of the Alamo, the most famous battle of the Texas Revolution.
